I bought this to use an AV processor (plugged into the ‘Master’ outlet) to trigger power to two external amplifiers and a subwoofer (I wasn’t able to use 12V trigger lines). It does that just fine, worked perfectly the first time. There are a total of four triggered outlets (which turn on when there is a draw on the Master outlet), and a final always-on outlet. Construction is functional and inexpensive but the rated surge protection capacity is pretty good and the indicator LEDs give you the basic information to know if everything is working. There are also a pair of RJ11 jacks to provide protection for a phone line, but I’m not using them so no comment. I was looking at a variety of more expensive products (power conditioners, as much as $300) but for $25 this was hard to beat. Four stars because the product doesn’t do anything exotic, this is just a good basic solution to a simple problem.
