This surge protector is serious protection. 2520 joules of protection so it’s suitable for protecting an expensive high def TV. The plug also has an automatic shutdown of power once the protector reaches the end of life to protect your expensive equipment. It also utilizes new V3 technology which gives better heat dissipation and longer protector life. The spacing concern that another reviewer mentioned hasn’t been a problem for me because I have no large transformer block plugs associated with my TV.(I do have a small transformer plug for an amplified antenna, however.) I like the smaller size because my protector shows.

I bought this at a local store, and I am extremely disappointed. The plugs are so close together, I can’t plug more than 4 things in. I’m not even trying to plug in big adapters, just some 2-prong power cords!
